I get my stamps out. Today I want to do the lettering first, although I usually save it for the last. This time though I have chosen a pretty weird combination of colours and I am not sure if I am going to pull it off. The lettering will be crucial in tying it all together.
I stamp the text (Is it a lady with a dog? Or am I in luck?)..
But I am not sure about the colour of the lettering yet. I try some shades in Photoshop
And feel like going with the light aqua.
I paint the letters the colour I have in mind.. and feel unsatisfied. There is no balance. And on second thought I don’t like the white footpath.
I try to colour the footpath green but I know in my heart of hearts it is nearly impossible to get an even surface once the letters have been stamped on…
So after some time I decide to start anew. I have printed the left part again, with a green footpath, attached it and stamped the same letters.
I am still not convinced this is going to work. We’ll see.
Tomorrow I am going to help a friend move. Back on tuesday.
