I found her in a family portrait of long ago.
Amidst her parents and sisters she draws all attention.
Not because she is so pretty, but because she looks so disappointed.
You can tell that what she has experienced of life so far does not make her look forward to the rest.
Small version, 10 x 15 cm / 4 x 6 in plus wide margins
It took some Photoshop wizardry to enlarge the photo enough so I could use it. I have had it for a long time and only now did I succeed. There is some benefit in practising! She has always been the favorite persona in my photo collection, so I am a happy camper today.
