Scherpenzeel at daybreak

We went back to Scherpenzeel this weekend to visit the Scheene Art Route and to attend a concert at daybreak by Nynke Laverman. It started at 6 AM!

Picture taking was not allowed. But sheep, cows and birds woke up during the concert and made themselves heard, which was amusing and charming. Afterwards we all had breakfast right there next to the concert tent (where Titi sold postcards):

A picture of my friends Lieneke and Arie chewing their breakfast:

Lovely wild flowers on all the tables

And then we went en route…

…Along the Scheene river.

I will be posting some pictures of the art we saw tomorrow.

[...] I finally made my 3 panels for the Scheene Poetry route. Just like two years ago.  (Except at that time I was not so distracted by the Blogstylers).  At that point, my eldest son was leaving home and my three poems were about him. See also here. And here. And you can see how beautiful the Frisian area is where the art exhibit and poetry route will be held in this post. [...]
