Hooi is a new breakfast and lunch cafe at the Burgemeester Reigerstraat in Utrecht where I often go for a cup of coffee. Or where I take my youngest son for lunch, to lure him away from his computer. It is a friendly place with lots of wood and nice things to look at. I asked the owner, Ingrid, if she would consider exhibiting some of my work and she would.
I left it for her to choose and she picked a few animals made from handcut stamps.
I mounted them on wood for the occasion and will upload them to my shop, too.
These are the first pictures I ever took using a tripod and I am pretty pleased with the result. I also got two small photo lamps thanks to my good friend and photographer Wim van der Ende to take pictures when it is raining. They can only be switched on for five minutes at a time or they will explode. I did not need them here.
Anyway, because of the tripod I took a lot of pictures.
Go check out Hooi if you’re in the ‘hood. Their lunches are great.
PS Hooi is keeping the animals – they fit.

Wat een lef! Goed! En leuk!
Leuke tip, ga er zeker een keer heen.
Wat een goed idee, om daar je werk te laten zien. Ben erg benieuwd of er iets uit voortvloeit.
