SOLD: 28 Sophie

Sophie is 5. She is an active little thing: she talks incessantly – while dancing about the house. Ballet class is her favorite pastime.

When she’s out she’s always collecting treasures: stones, shells, shiny beads and bottle caps.

And then she loves to draw and to paint, says her mom. Often she’ll be up first thing in the morning, happily painting away.

At half past seven!

She is an example to at least one artist I know.

I will be taking Sophie’s print to the Hippe Markt this weekend. (Sunday and monday June 12 and 13, Griftpark, Utrecht). Do you live nearby? Come and say hello!

    The portraits are looking wonderful. I love this one, with the contrast of the check and the pale hair. Great facial expression.

    Ik zit echt met mijn mond wijd open je blog/schilderijen te bekijken. Prachtíg!!Wat een mooie stijl heb je en wat kun je gezichtsuitdrukkingen goed vastleggen.(al heb ik niet de het voorbeeld gezien)Ik ga je volgen!
